Kenya is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations attracting millions of tourists over the past years due to its extraordinary number of safari options, beautiful beaches, rich culture, striking geographical diversity, and archeological sites

Kenya is an all-year-round safari destination. A country in East Africa with a coastline on the Indian Ocean. It encompasses the savannah, Lakelands, the dramatic Great Rift Valley, and mountain highlands. Wildlife is abundant including the Big 5 and is known for its annual wildebeest migration. From Nairobi, the capital city, a safari visit to the various National Parks and reserves, history, different cultures, and white sand beaches, each day will offer you a different and new experience.

Visa requirements

There are a number of different visas you can access when traveling to Kenya but if you are just visiting Kenya alone and not the East Africa region the single entry visa is sufficient.

Kenya Visa is only available online through the E-visa website.  Visitors from countries that require a Visa to enter Kenya should now apply for the Visa online on the E-Visa portal – http://evisa.go.ke/evisa.html. Applicants will be required to follow the three stages indicated on the E-Visa website, namely:

  1. Register –  in order to activate your E-Visa account.
  2. Complete the Application Form and provide a photo and passport copy).
  3. Pay online using a debit or credit card and await the E-Visa approval.

Vaccinations

We recommend seeking advice from your local agent/health practitioner on the appropriate vaccinations you may need. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required if traveling from any yellow fever-endemic country.

Seasons

Dry season: January-March and July-October

Rainy/wet Season: April- Early June and November – December

The best time to travel is July-October and also when the great migration takes place. Wildlife is also easier to spot during the dry season.
